Democratic Party president Harry Kalaba says he will only exculpate himself if the Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mila assures him that the fuel price will be reduced and the lives of Zambian people improved.

Democratic Party president, who is also a Bahati member of parliament said It is extremely laughable that Mr Davies Mwila can be asking him to exculpate himself at a time when when the country is mourning a young life, a young Zambian who has gone back to be with the Lord because of the huge negligence of the Zambia Police who have gone on unrestrained .
He said it is quite unfortunate that Davies Mwila doesn't mind that a parent has lost a child and he has got the energy to ask him ( Kalaba Harry) to be exculpating himself on allenged insults which are on known to himself.
Mr Kalaba said if Mr Mwila assures him that the price of fuel will come down when he exculpates himself, then he will be willing to exculpate himself.
" if he tells me that the standard of living for our people will be improved, the poor people's children will not be dying at the University of Zambia the way they are dying, But If he does not deal with those pertinent issues and he wants to play politics as usual, I decline the invitation" Mr Kalaba said.
He said that he is not going to play to David Mwila's standards and that he will not allow him to waste his time as he wasted time for the people of Chipili.
"For me, I am focused and resolved to ensure that the challenges that the Zambian people are going through should never continue and no amount of tactics will sway me from doing that which I have started" He said.
Mr Kalaba said no amount of tactics will deter him from ensuring that a new Zambia is born and that Zambians get their country back in their hands.
"For me, I only wonder that when Zambians are going through all these challenges one finds time to even begin talking about exculpating oneself" He said.
He said he wonders, what kind of drug Mr mwila is on ,adding that there is need of being serious in handling issues.
