Senior Chief Kasempa of the Kaonde speaking people in Kasempa district has proposed to name the yet to be constructed police station at turn off Kasempa after north western province commissioner of police Hudson Namachila.
His royal highness senior chief Kasempa says Mr Namachila has demonstrated true leadership and enjoyed cordial relationship with the Royal establishment as compared to his predecessors.
He says the two had a meeting last week and consulted each other on the need to have a police station which was supposed to be the police post and agreed to hold a gathering at Nselauke Primary School.
His Royal highness senior chief Kasempa took advantage of the Presence of his subjects by asking them if they were comfortable to name the yet to be constructed police station at turn off Kasempa after north western province commissioner of police Hudson Namachila and his subjects agreed to his proposal to name the yet to be constructed police station after the commissioner of police.
The traditional leader says in recognition of good leadership exhibited by Mr Namachila, it is good to name the police station after his name so that people will remember him for his good works  when his tour of duty comes to an end.
He has also reviewed that the letters have been written and set to the business community to make contributions towards the construction of the police station.
His Royal highness senior chief Kasempa has further  thanked the people of Nselauke for working hand in hand with the Royal establishment in developmental agendas such as the construction of the clinical which is now providing health care to the people.
His Royal highness senior chief Kasempa says he is of full belief that it will not be difficult in construction of the Police station in the area.
And north western province commissioner of police Hudson Namachila has welcomed the proposal by senior chief Kasempa to name the yet to be constructed police station after his name with gladness.
Mr Namachila says in most cases people are honoured when they are dead and not when they are still alive.
He says the gesture by the Royal establishment and the subjects for recognizing him in such a manner when most of the people do not even know him.
Mr Namachila adds that the gesture by the Royal establish and the people of Nswelauke will now increase his commitment towards the project.
