Government has called on all financial players in north western province to take up the challenge of participating in the implementation of the national strategy on financial education. Speaking during the official launch of the phase two of the national strategy on financial education in north western province at provincial administration in the Boma conference hall today, North Western Province permanent secretary willies Mangimela, in a speech read on his behalf by his deputy Douglas Ngimbu, Mr. Mangimela said the launch of the national strategy reaffirms governments commitment towards enhancing financial inclusions agenda in Zambia without leaving out anyone behind. Mr Mangimela said the launch of the national strategy on financial education is a milestone as it will help to strengthen the financial inclusions in the country. NGO'S HAPPY WITH 2019 GRADE SEVEN AND NINE RESULTS FOR 2019.

National union of public and private educators of Zambia in north western province as attributed the good performance of grade seven and nine results to teachers. NUPPEZ north western province provincial chairperson Davison Kandela has told Solwezi FCC radio news that teachers were equal to the task in preparing the pupils for exams 2019. And Mr Kandela has applauded teachers for the job well done as shown by the results at both grade seven and grade nine levels. He has however, requested teachers to continue working hard so that the province continues to champion good performance in all examinations at all levels. National Democratic Congress party in north western province has described 2019 as a non-democratic year but hopeful that 2020 will be a good year for political parties especially the opposition to thrive in their quest to provide checks and balances to the government. NDC North Western Province chairperson MARK KALEMBA has told Solwezi radio news today that most opposition political parties were not able to speak freely on various issues bordering on the interests of the national. He said the patriotic front government did not provide a conducive environment for all stakeholders to thrive and save the country with one common goal. Mr Kalemba has also observed that in 2019, as a party they were able to see some forms of dictatorship as most of those who spoke the against the works of the government were being silenced in various ways.
