NGO'S HAPPY WITH 2019 GRADE SEVEN AND NINE RESULTS FOR 2019.


National union of public and private educators of Zambia in north western province as attributed the good performance of grade seven and nine results to teachers.

NUPPEZ north western province provincial chairperson Davison Kandela has told Solwezi FCC radio news that teachers were equal to the task in preparing the pupils for exams 2019.

And Mr Kandela has applauded teachers for the job well done as shown by the results at both grade seven and grade nine levels.

He has however, requested teachers to continue working hard so that the province continues to champion good performance in all examinations at all levels.

And students and school leaver’s savings and cooperative society board chairperson Chilekwa Mambwe has praised the grade sevens who sat for their 2019 examination for scooping the first position countrywide.


Mr Mambwe has observed pupils in north western province were able to perform well because there they are fewer activities to destruct them from studying hard.


He adds that with the opening up of the province as result of its economic advantages there is need to put in place a system that will ensure that school going children are not destructed from understanding the value of education.

He says the system should be able to monitor what kind of activities pupils are engaged into unlike just leaving it open.

Chief  Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila District says the imaginary wrangles in his Chiefdom are not being perpetuated by subjects of the royal establishment but by outside forces. Speaking shortly after having a closed door meeting with North Western Province Permanent Secretary Mr Willies Mangimela at provincial administration yesterday sitting Chief of the Matebo royal establishment Evans Nyeleti journalists that there are some chiefs trying to sponsor wrangles through hidden agendas in the Chiefdom. Subjects of Chief Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila district have accused two traditional leaders for causing confusion in the matter of who should be the chief between Collece Mulemena and Evans Nyeleti. Speaking during a meeting called by the sitting Chief  of  the  Matebo chiefdom, the seventh Evans Nyeleti today at the palace, the subjects alleged that the said  two chiefs  are contributing to the continued  wrangles over the chieftainship  of the Matebo royal establishment. The subjects said the two chiefs are supporting Collece Mulemena who lost the case in the high Court through a judgment which was passed. Nyambi Harrison, who spoke on behalf of the other subjects, said he wonders why the two chiefs have concentrated on Chief Matebo's Chiefdom when they have their own Chiefdoms.
