Oxcart Transport Claims Life Of a 13 year old boy of Kakeki village in Chieftainess Nyakulung'a's Chiefdom of Zambezi District.

A 13 year old boy of  Kakeki village in Chieftainess Nyakulenga's Chiefdom of Zambezi district has died after falling off the moving  oxcart.

North Western Province Commissioner of Police Hudson Namachila has confirmed the incident to journalists today  that the accident occurred on 09/10/19 around 16:00 hrs along airport road, Zambezi.

Mr Namachila has disclosed that  involved was Elijah Wemba aged 13  of kakeki village in  Chieftainess Nyakulung'a's  Chiefdom.

He says Wemba  was on a moving  oxcart from North to South, where he fell off from and the wheels run over him.

The commissioner of Police has further added that Wemba sustained suspected internal injuries and died on the spot.

 He says the body of the deceased was deposited into  Zambezi District Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.

Subjects of Chief Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila district have accused two traditional leaders for causing confusion in the matter of who should be the chief between Collece Mulemena and Evans Nyeleti. Speaking during a meeting called by the sitting Chief  of  the  Matebo chiefdom, the seventh Evans Nyeleti today at the palace, the subjects alleged that the said  two chiefs  are contributing to the continued  wrangles over the chieftainship  of the Matebo royal establishment. The subjects said the two chiefs are supporting Collece Mulemena who lost the case in the high Court through a judgment which was passed.
