The Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has attributed the erratic water supply in the capital to rehabilitation works at Kafue water treatment plant but promised that normal supply would be restored tonight. Public Relations Manager PATSON PHIRI says his company was aware of the water shortage which has hit Lusaka for nearly five days. He said the company was replacing old pipes to improve supply safe water to townships. MR PHIRI said normal water supply was expected to resume this evening.
