SHIMPOLOPOLO TAKES ON ZIMBABWE  WOMEN NATIONAL TEAM
The Women National Team will have an opportunity to salvage Zambian pride after the Chipolopolo were defeated by Zimbabwe in the Cosafa Castle Cup final on Saturday.

This afternoon (Sunday) the Zambia Women Team faces Zimbabwe in the final round, second leg of the 2018 Ghana Africa Women Championship to be held in November.
Zimbabwe lead 1-0 from the first leg but coach Bruce Mwape has thrown everything in the bag to ensure that result is reversed.

The team has been hard at work since jetting in Harare on Thursday and are hoping that they come strong enough to overcome their rivals.

Skipper Misozi Zulu will have to lead from the front with Barbara Banda hoping to beat a late fitness test to ensure that she helps the team qualify to the Africa Cup of Nations.
In goal Hazel Nali will have to be at her best to stave off the challenge posed by the lady warriors especially Spain based Rutendo Makore.

Kickoff for the match is at 15:00 hours at Rufaro Stadium.
Winner over two legs qualifies to the 2018 Ghana Africa Cup of Nations.

Chief  Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila District says the imaginary wrangles in his Chiefdom are not being perpetuated by subjects of the royal establishment but by outside forces. Subjects of Chief Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila district have accused two traditional leaders for causing confusion in the matter of who should be the chief between Collece Mulemena and Evans Nyeleti. Speaking during a meeting called by the sitting Chief  of  the  Matebo chiefdom, the seventh Evans Nyeleti today at the palace, the subjects alleged that the said  two chiefs  are contributing to the continued  wrangles over the chieftainship  of the Matebo royal establishment. The subjects said the two chiefs are supporting Collece Mulemena who lost the case in the high Court through a judgment which was passed. Nyambi Harrison, who spoke on behalf of the other subjects, said he wonders why the two chiefs have concentrated on Chief Matebo's Chiefdom when they have their own Chiefdoms.
