North Western province provincial minister honourable Nathaniel Mubukwanu has commended the church for closly working with the government in the quest to improve the welfare of the people across the country. Speaking through a speech read on his behalf by Solwezi district commissioner Ms Rosemary Kamalonga during a conference of Catholic bishops of Zambia at St Daniels today Hon Mubukwanu seized the opportunity to urge the church help to promote unity and love among the people in the country. Hon Mubukwanu said the society today is polarized by politics and tribalism,which causes serious threat to the one Zambia, one nation motto. He said as a nation, there is need of the country to depart from hate speech and live by the principal of love as taught by the Bible. Hon mubukwanu said government with support from the church can help the people of Zambia to establish common values and love for the country, which will inturn drive people to contribute towards a better nation.
