MBAYA HAILS EXPO NORTHWEST ZAMBIA 2019 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE, URGES RESIDENTS TO WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE EXPO RESULTS.
Patriotic Front Senior party member Martin Mbaya has commended the provincial administration under the leadership of NorthWestern Province Provincial minister Honourable Nathaniel Mubukwanu , the permanent Secretary Mr Willies Mangimela together with the entire Committee for organizing the Expo Northwest Zambia 2019 aimed at unveiling the hidden treasures of the province.
Mr Mbaya said North Westerners are yet to see fruits of the expo more especially on the memoradums of understanding which were signed during the on-going Exposition at Solwezi City Mall.
He said the MOUs signed are a plus to the people in the province as they will not only bring employment to the local people but also bring the much desired development to the province.
Mr Mbaya said the funding of Kaleni fruit processing plant in Mwinilunga District by the industrial development corporation was governments desire to make sure that the plant is revived .
He adds that the revision of the canary will not only enhence the tourism and manufacturing sectors but also create jobs for the local people.
Mr Mbaya said that the setting up of the canary plant in the district will give opportunities to small scale farmers who will be able to supply the fruits for processing into finished products such as drinks.
He also mentioned that the coming of the Zambia Forestries and forestry industries (ZAFFICO) in Mushindamo and Kalumbila district has come at a right time, adding that having the ZAFFICO deal signed is a plus to the people in the province.
He said the signing of the deal will now attract more investments to the province which will take it to it's great heights.
Mr Mbaya further described the expo North West Zambia 2019 as an incident free event ,where all delegates interacted freely.
He says the organisers should be commended for the job well done as the province waits for the fruition of the memorandums of understanding which have been signed.
Mr Mbaya said this in an interview with Solwezi FCC Radio News on the sidelines of the on-going Expo Northwest Zambia 2019 which started on 18 and will go up to 24 August 2019.
