Kamalonga happy with the progress made on projects under constituency development fund in Solwezi district

Solwezi district commissioner Rosemary Kamalonga has expressed happiness on the progress made on the projects being constructed under constituency Development fund (CDF) in Solwezi district district.
Speaking after monitoring Mushitala market, Kimakolwe Secondary school and Wisdom clinic in the company of Solwezi Municipal Council representative, Solwezi District Education Board secreatry representative and the media today, Mrs Kamalonga said that she was happy with the work done  on the three  projects so far.
She says Solwezi district has not been left out on developmental projects being done across the country under constituency development fund.
Mrs Kamalonga said that indeed president Edgar Chagwa Lungu means well in taking development to all parts of the country.
She has called on the local people to own the projects by taking care of them by helping government in safeguarding the properties.
Mrs Kamalonga further said that now that Kimakolwe secondary school is complete, the ministry of education should be getting ready to  send teachers at the school more especially that government has reduced school fees for pupils in both rural and urban areas which has made it easy to send their children to school.
She has thanked the ministry of Health for quickly sending staffs at wisdom clinic which has led to dicogesting Kazomba clinic in accessing health services by the local people in the area.
Mrs Kamalonga says the people of wisdom area will now be able to have access to health services near by following the construction of wisdom clinic in the area.
She says the local people should not be cheated by individuals that they are the ones constructing schools and clinics among other projects for every project being done is as result of government's intevations in making lives of its people better.
Meanwhile, the district commissioner also took time to encourage girls at Kimakolwe primary School to concentrate on their studies and not engage themselves in illist activities that can jeopardize their lives.
She cautioned the girls to consider books before boys to avoid faling pregnant while they are still in school.
And Gerad Kabwebwe the resident of wisdom area has commended government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu the massive developmental projects being under taken in Solwezi district.
Mr kabwebwe has  sited the construction of Wisdom clinic as one project that has come at a time when people needed it.
He says after engaging government through the office of the district commissioner and the permanent secretary who accepted and agreed to construct a clinic in the area.
Mr Kabwebwe has further called on government to also consider putting up a martenity wing in the area for expecting mothers to have access to health services near by.
He says he has no doubt that  government will come to the aid of its people in the area for it has had demonstrated true leadership in the delivery of development to all parts of the country by not considering tribal lines.
