North Western Province Permanent Secretary Willies Mangimela has urged teachers in the province to prepare pupils in examination  classes adequately as exams draws near. Speaking at media briefing on Wednesday last week, Mr Mangimela  encouraged both teachers from primary and secondary school teachers to take advantage of the remaining days to revise with pupils in the preparations of the exams. Mr Mangimela says teachers should cover up on the topics which they may not have taught during lessons. He adds that preparedness amongst school pupils will help to avoid engaging cases if malpractices during exams. A 13 year old boy of  Kakeki village in Chieftainess Nyakulenga's Chiefdom of Zambezi district has died after falling off the moving  oxcart. North Western Province Commissioner of Police Hudson Namachila has confirmed the incident to journalists today  that the accident occurred on 09/10/19 around 16:00 hrs along airport road, Zambezi. Mr Namachila has disclosed that  involved was Elijah Wemba aged 13  of kakeki village in  Chieftainess Nyakulung'a's  Chiefdom. He says Wemba  was on a moving  oxcart from North to South, where he fell off from and the wheels run over him. The commissioner of Police has further added that Wemba sustained suspected internal injuries and died on the spot.  He says the body of the deceased was deposited into  Zambezi District Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.

46 years old woman of kyawama compound in Solwezi district has been stubbed to death by unknown people, as eye witness suspects her son of murdering her. North Western Province Commissioner of  Police Hudson Namachila has Identified the deceased as Peggy Busange was stubbed with a knife by unknown persons but strongly suspects her son Happy Kilambe of kyawama compound. ‘’The Murder occurred on 14/09/19 at around 23:00hours at kyawama compound and later reported to the police around 03:00hrs by Rickson Busange who is the brother to the deceased’’ Mr Namachila reviewed.   National Water Supply and Sanitation Council ( NWASCO) says the findings have shown that the service level guarantee that relate to water supply hours by North Western Water supply and sanitation is due to the power outages being experienced across the country. Speaking during a special program on Solwezi FCC radio on Friday NWASCO Technical Inspector-Water Curtis Muleya said the load shedding schedules by Zambia Electricity Supply Company have also affected the ability of the utility company to supply water to the people in the province whenever there is a power outage. Mr Muleya said the utility company needs power for them to pump the water from the river or the borehole, to the treatment plant and also supplying to consumers after it is treated.
