Son Stabbs His Own Mother To Death


46 years old woman of kyawama compound in Solwezi district has been stubbed to death by unknown people, as eye witness suspects her son of murdering her.

North Western Province Commissioner of  Police Hudson Namachila has Identified the deceased as Peggy Busange was stubbed with a knife by unknown persons but strongly suspects her son Happy Kilambe of kyawama compound.


‘’The Murder occurred on 14/09/19 at around 23:00hours at kyawama compound and later reported to the police around 03:00hrs by Rickson Busange who is the brother to the deceased’’ Mr Namachila reviewed.

He says that   Happy once warned to kill her mother earlier.


‘’the body was inspected at the hospital where she was rushed and was found with a very big open wound with intestines protruding outside her stomach’’ Mr Namachila said.


‘’the docket has been opened and suspect in the murder case has been picked’’ he added.


The commissioner of police says happy was found locked in a small house in Rodwell mwepu area where he had locked the door from outside.


‘’the body has been deposited to Solwezi general hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem and Investigations to be instituted’’ Mr Namachila said.

Subjects of Chief Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila district have accused two traditional leaders for causing confusion in the matter of who should be the chief between Collece Mulemena and Evans Nyeleti. Speaking during a meeting called by the sitting Chief  of  the  Matebo chiefdom, the seventh Evans Nyeleti today at the palace, the subjects alleged that the said  two chiefs  are contributing to the continued  wrangles over the chieftainship  of the Matebo royal establishment. The subjects said the two chiefs are supporting Collece Mulemena who lost the case in the high Court through a judgment which was passed.
