46 years old woman of kyawama compound in Solwezi district has been stubbed to death by unknown people, as eye witness suspects her son of murdering her. North Western Province Commissioner of  Police Hudson Namachila has Identified the deceased as Peggy Busange was stubbed with a knife by unknown persons but strongly suspects her son Happy Kilambe of kyawama compound. ‘’The Murder occurred on 14/09/19 at around 23:00hours at kyawama compound and later reported to the police around 03:00hrs by Rickson Busange who is the brother to the deceased’’ Mr Namachila reviewed. Speaking during a special program on Solwezi FCC radio on Friday NWASCO Technical Inspector-Water Curtis Muleya said the load shedding schedules by Zambia Electricity Supply Company have also affected the ability of the utility company to supply water to the people in the province whenever there is a power outage. Mr Muleya said the utility company needs power for them to pump the water from the river or the borehole, to the treatment plant and also supplying to consumers after it is treated. A traditional leader in Solwezi district has urged expecting mothers to make use of the available health facilities when giving birth to newborns. Speaking during the  handover ceremony of a maternity Annex at Mulenge health post which has been constructed by Solwezi Municipal Council through Constituency Development Fund Sub Chief Mulenga said there is no reason why people should always stick to home deliveries  which are conducted by traditional birth attendants. He said ministry of health has a clear policy which states that all deliveries should be conducted at health facilities which are  available in communities or nearby. Sub Chief Mulenga warned that whoever will be found will be punished to deter others from doing so. Subjects of Chief Matebo of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila district have accused two traditional leaders for causing confusion in the matter of who should be the chief between Collece Mulemena and Evans Nyeleti. Speaking during a meeting called by the sitting Chief  of  the  Matebo chiefdom, the seventh Evans Nyeleti today at the palace, the subjects alleged that the said  two chiefs  are contributing to the continued  wrangles over the chieftainship  of the Matebo royal establishment. The subjects said the two chiefs are supporting Collece Mulemena who lost the case in the high Court through a judgment which was passed. Nyambi Harrison, who spoke on behalf of the other subjects, said he wonders why the two chiefs have concentrated on Chief Matebo's Chiefdom when they have their own Chiefdoms.
